The collection of gingerbread-style, pastel-painted cottages lends this resort a unique and very homely atmosphere. Perched on a hillside between two pretty beaches, Cocobay makes an ideal retreat for couples and honeymooners. It’s only a minute’s walk down to the beach, or you can just relax by the infinity pool or let yourself be pampered in the wellness cottage.

Location
On a peninsula on the west coast of Antigua, near the village of Valley Church, 30 minutes from the airport.

Accommodation
The 57 charming cottages are scattered across the hillside and are simply furnished but attractive. Each has a ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, a small shower room and a private patio with a hammock. Standard and Seaview Cottages have garden and partial ocean views; Seaview Pool Cottages are air-conditioned and have a better ocean view as well as a private plunge pool; Seafront Cottages benefit from the best locations and ocean views and feature superior bathroom amenities, air-conditioning and a private plunge pool. The hilltop Plantation Houses have two ensuite bedrooms, a separate living room and a large private verandah with panoramic sea views.

Facilities
Rafters Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. (Sheer Rocks Restaurant is also on site but is independently owned and is not included in the hotel’s All-Inclusive plan). There are 2 bars, a TV room, 2 infinity pools and a wellness cottage offering massage treatments at a local charge. Wireless internet access is available throughout the property (at an additional charge) and there is an internet desk at reception.

Special Information
Cocobay is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties. Children under 12 yrs are not permitted except between 22 December - 6 January. Sheer Rocks Restaurant will be closed between 1 July - 30 September.
