The collection of gingerbread-style, pastel-painted cottages lends this resort a unique and very homely atmosphere. Perched on a hillside between two pretty beaches, Cocobay makes an ideal retreat for couples and honeymooners. It’s only a minute’s walk down to the beach, or you can just relax by the infinity pool or let yourself be pampered in the wellness cottage.

Location
On a peninsula on the west coast, near the village of Valley Church, 30 minutes from the airport.

Accommodation
The 57 charming Cottages are scattered across the hillside with wonderful ocean views. The simple but attractive rooms have a ceiling fan, tea/coffee maker, mini fridge, a small shower room (with wonderful views) and a private patio with a hammock. Standard Cottages have partial views of the ocean; Seaview Cottages are air-conditioned and have a better ocean view; Seafront Cottages have an uninterrupted ocean view, superior bathroom amenities, air-conditioning and a private plunge pool. The hilltop Plantation Houses have two ensuite bedrooms, a separate living room and a large private verandah with panoramic sea views.


Facilities
Rafters Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. (Sheer Rocks Restaurant is also on site but is independently owned and is not included in the hotel’s All-Inclusive plan). There is a bar, TV room, infinity pool and wellness cottage offering massage treatments at a local charge. Wireless internet access is available in the lobby and the restaurants and there is an internet desk at reception.

Special Information
Cocobay is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties. Children under 12 yrs are not permitted except between 20 December - 10 January. Sheer Rocks Restaurant will be closed between 1 July - 30 September.
