A long time favourite with Caribtours clients, Jumby Bay offers a paradise retreat on its own 300-acre private island. You’ll stay in total luxury, surrounded by exotic plant life and with the choice of several stunning, powder soft, white sand beaches. Rosewood Hotels have created the perfect blend of peace, seclusion and complete wellbeing at Jumby Bay, making it an ideal resort for couples and families alike.

Location
On Long Island, approximately 7 minutes by private launch from mainland Antigua. The resort’s dock is a 5 minute drive from the airport.

Accommodation
40 beautifully refurbished rooms and suites, each with air-conditioning, four poster bed, mini bar, flat screen TV, Bose sound system and complimentary wireless internet access. Bathrooms are spacious and feature granite stonework and indoor rain showers as well as private baths and showers set in the garden. Rondavel Rooms and Rondavel One Bedroom Suites are scattered throughout the gardens and have ocean views while, at the northern end of the resort, the Beachside Courtyard Suites are clustered around an open air courtyard and an oceanfront infinity pool. The elegant One Bedroom Pool Suites are stylishly appointed and feature an expansive ocean view terrace and private pool. Ask us about the Rosewood Estate Suite and Jumby Bay’s collection of magnificent Villas and Estate Homes - these offer the ultimate in privacy, luxury and service.

Facilities
The 19th Century plantation house is home to the cocktail bar and Estate House Restaurant where dinner is served most evenings. Breakfast, lunch and more casual dinners are also served in the Verandah Restaurant or the Pool Grille. The Sense Spa features 5 treatment suites and a beauty salon and offers personalised treatment programmes using natural, local ingredients. Other facilities include an oceanfront infinity pool, a large lap pool, 3 tennis courts, putting green, croquet lawn, fully equipped fitness centre, yoga and Pilates classes and complimentary watersports, including waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing and snorkelling. Younger guests are made welcome at Jumby Bay – the resort’s children’s programmes, Rose Buds and Camp Jumby, provide a host of activities for ages 3-12 yrs. Nanny service is also available for infants.
