Set high on a cliff top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, The Crane boasts one of the most dramatic settings in the entire Caribbean. The original lavish mansion was the first resort to be built in the Caribbean in 1887. Since then it has been extensively restored, expanded and refurbished, but it still retains its grandeur and elegance. Crane Beach is acknowledged to be one of the best in the world and is protected by a natural coral reef. There’s even a glass lift built into the cliff to whisk you down to the beach.

L'Azure restaurant is renowned for its seafood dishes and classic Caribbean delicacies. Zen serves divine Thai and Japanese cuisine and there is also an excellent poolside restaurant. The clifftop lap pool offers magnificent ocean views while a newer freeform pool complex includes waterfalls, fountains and a Jacuzzi. The on-site shopping and dining village offers a delightful market square environment with a range of shops, art gallery, state-of-the-art gym, small spa, Italian restaurant and ice cream parlour. There are two floodlit tennis courts and surfing, boogie boarding and other watersports are available nearby.
