Location
On the west coast, 40 minutes from the airport and 8 miles from Bridgetown.

Accommodation
48 spacious Garden Rooms and One and Two Bedroom Suites located in beautiful tropical gardens leading to the beach. Each has air-conditioning, CD player, fridge and a comfortable terrace or balcony overlooking the gardens, pool or ocean. The Suites have a kitchenette and a separate sitting room with sofa bed. The two Tree Top Suites are particularly stylish with a four poster bed, sitting room, dressing room, magnificent bathroom and a wraparound terrace with private plunge pool. The Sandpiper’s new Beach House is a spacious three bedroom villa located directly on the beach. Reserved in its entirety, The Beach House is perfect for families or small groups; for couples, the master bedroom can be separated from the rest of the villa to form a fabulous One Bedroom Oceanfront Suite.

Facilities
The excellent Restaurant is surrounded by tranquil koi ponds and is regarded by many as one of the best in Barbados. (When staying on Half Board, guests may also exchange dine at other luxury hotels on the west coast). Facilities here include Harold’s Beach Bar, an elegant cocktail bar, torch-lit swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, complimentary tennis clinic and watersports including waterskiing, sailing, kayaks and snorkelling. Complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the property and transportation is provided to The Spa at Coral Reef Club, a couple of minutes’ drive away.

Special Information
Children under 12 yrs are not permitted between 15 January - 15 March. Those under 5 yrs are not permitted in the restaurant or lounge after 7pm. The hotel will be closed between 11 August - 10 October.
