Set on a peninsula overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and a stunning bay, Biras Creek is one the most beautiful and most exclusive resorts in the Caribbean. The hotel’s main restaurant enjoys one of the best reputations in the whole region and the dining here is exceptional. There are 140 natural, unspoilt acres to explore either on foot or on the complimentary bicycles provided. Watersports are also very popular and another great way to build up an appetite for the delicious four-course dinners.

Location
On the eastern tip of Virgin Gorda, 30 minutes by private launch from Beef Island Airport, Tortola.

Accommodation
31 ground floor suites with either a garden or ocean view. All feature an air-conditioned bedroom with king size bed, a separate living room, CD player, iPod docking station, fridge (stocked with complimentary soft drinks on arrival), an outdoor garden shower and furnished verandah. Garden Suites are set back from the beach whilst Ocean Suites are right on the water’s edge with uninterrupted sea views. The luxurious Grand Suite includes a spacious living room, TV/DVD player, wireless internet access, a private plunge pool and sun deck with fabulous views. The Premier Suite boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and private plunge pool. Interconnecting suites are also available for families.

Facilities
Gourmet menus are served at the stone ‘castle’ hub which houses the superb dining areas. A casual, al fresco lunch is served four times a week at the beach and there is also Fat Virgin’s Café on the waterfront for delicious snacks. When not basking in the sun on the beautiful sheltered beach, take to the water in complimentary Boston Whaler speedboats or try windsurfing, sailing or kayaking with instruction available. Snorkelling, hiking and nature walks are also very popular. There are 2 floodlit tennis courts, a tranquil swimming pool, beach volleyball, lounge with TV/DVD player and wireless internet access and a small spa offering Decléor therapeutic treatments.

Special Information
Children under 6 yrs are not permitted. Biras Creek is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties. The hotel will be closed between 26 August - 21 October.
