Royal Clipper is the world’s largest fully-rigged five-masted sailing ship to have been built this century and evokes all the grandeur and seafaring history of the Caribbean.

You’ll find life aboard extremely comfortable with luxury cabins, superb facilities and elegant dining. The ship is 439 ft long and with only 227 guests, there’s plenty of space. There are also 106 crew, so you can expect attentive, friendly service at all times.

Accommodation
98 cabins (in 6 categories) and 14 suites on three decks, each with individually controlled air-conditioning, twin or double beds, TV, DVD player and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The Deluxe Suites offer a private verandah, whirlpool bath and 24-hour cabin service. The Owner’s Suites have two double beds, a whirlpool bath and are particularly spacious.

Facilities
There are 3 pools, complimentary watersports including windsurfing, waterskiing and snorkelling, a PADI dive centre (extra charge) and a marina platform allowing for easy access into the water. Other facilities include an elegant dining room, Piano Bar, Tropical Bar on deck, a library and the Captain Nemo Health Club and Spa with portholes offering spectacular underwater views of marine life. For those who wish to explore beyond the ship’s amenities, there is also a fabulous selection of shore excursions which can be booked and paid for on board.

Special Information
Royal Clipper is not recommended for children under 12 yrs. No formal dress is required. Cruises depart from and return to Barbados; passengers may board from 4pm - 9pm and the ship sails at 10pm. On return to Barbados the ship docks at approximately 7am and passengers must disembark by 9am. We will be pleased to assist with your arrangements for the rest of the day and can arrange use of a day room at a nearby hotel should you be flying home that evening. No smoking is allowed inside the ship or on the aft deck.

What you need to know

• Sailing on the Clipper is more than just a holiday, it's a real adventure.

• The Tropical Bar is the place to be in the evenings, with entertainment ranging from local bands who hop on board when the ship is docked, to crab races on deck!

• If you've never scuba dived, you must try the introductory lesson on-board in the small pool - it's great fun and the staff are very patient.

• As your cruise docks quite early on the last day, you may want to consider a day room at a Barbados hotel, so that you can enjoy the day on the beach.
