Location
On a beautiful stretch of the Riviera Maya, just 10 minutes from Playa del Carmen and 40 minutes from Cancún International Airport.

Accommodation
The majority of the 401 elegant Rooms and Suites are set beside the graceful lagoons that dominate the property. All accommodation includes a king size or two double beds, air-conditioning, flat screen TV, Bose radio and CD player, internet access, tea/coffee making facilities, a luxurious bathroom and a furnished balcony or terrace. Fairmont Rooms are located in the four-storey Bamboo Building close to the main facilities; Casitas are set in two-storey buildings overlooking the mangroves, lagoons or ocean; Casita Suites are particularly spacious and offer a separate living area and private plunge pool - Beach Area Casita Suites are set back from the beach and feature a private roof terrace with plunge pool and panoramic views of the resort, mangroves and ocean; Oceanfront Casita Suites offer direct access to the beach and an oceanfront infinity plunge pool. Interconnecting rooms and suites are available for families and some suite categories include butler service.

Facilities
The 3 restaurants are all superb - La Laguna offers sumptuous buffet or à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed setting overlooking the lagoons; Las Brisas is open for fresh, al fresco lunch or dinner on the beachfront; and Fairmont’s elegant, fine dining restaurant, El Puerto, serves award-winning Mexican and international cuisine. There is also a deli, 2 bars, 5 swimming pools (one for adults only with swim-up bar and a kids’ pool with waterslide), a state-of-the-art gym, and the 18-hole Greg Norman designed El Camaleon golf course. The fabulous Willow Stream Spa has 20 treatment rooms, steam and sauna rooms and a rooftop mineral pool; treatments are inspired by ancient Mayan techniques and use local herbs and essential oils.
