With its secluded setting and spectacular views, you’ll feel at one with nature at this stunningly beautiful 600-acre resort. The emphasis here is on exploring and enjoying your natural surroundings, although you may prefer just to laze on the beach or be totally pampered in the spa. Location
On and above a secluded bay, approximately 45 minutes from Hewanorra Airport.

Accommodation
49 individually designed rooms, featuring original works of art by local and international artists. Each has a ceiling fan, shower, tea/coffee making facilities and private verandah. The octagonal Superior Hillside Rooms have panoramic views; Deluxe Rooms are a little larger and are located either in the gardens close to the beach or on the hillside with ocean views. The spectacular and particularly spacious Premium Hillside Rooms are highly recommended, boasting incredible views over the Pitons and ocean. Beachside Deluxe Rooms are air-conditioned whilst those on the hillside are cooled by the sea breeze. Some Deluxe and Premium Hillside Rooms feature a dramatic ‘open-walled’ design with the fourth wall open to the spectacular views.

Facilities
3 restaurants - the romantic, open air Treehouse; the more casual Trou au Diable on the beach and a vegetarian option at Emerald’s. Much of the organic produce is grown locally at the hotel’s own farm in the Soufrière hills. Sporting activities include tennis, snorkelling, scuba diving, ocean kayaking and a mountain bike centre offering 12 miles of jungle biking and hiking trails. The Kai Belté Spa offers a wide choice of treatments as well as yoga and fitness classes.

Special Information
Children under 10 yrs are not permitted except between 1 July - 30 September when the minimum age is 6 yrs. The 100 or so steep steps between the beach, restaurant and hillside guest rooms make Anse Chastanet unsuitable for those with walking difficulties, however a resort shuttle is available.

Anse Chastanet has received the prestigious Travelife Gold award for its commitment to sustainability, and nature is incorporated into the very design of the hotel, with trees growing through some of the rooms! The dinner menu at Emerald’s Restaurant is entirely vegetarian, with the organic produce grown locally at the hotel’s farm in the Soufrière hills, and there is a range of rainforest and birdwatching tours on offer.
