If you’re looking for an ideal balance between desert island escapism and a luxurious base, Palm Island has the perfect recipe. The resort has some of the most glorious white sand beaches and clear turquoise waters that we have seen and our clients often comment that this is exactly what they had imagined the Caribbean to be. The peace and seclusion is accentuated by the fact that all the guest rooms are scattered across the island, offering even greater privacy.

Location
On a private island, accessed by air from Barbados to Union Island, followed by an 8 minute boat ride to the resort.

Accommodation
43 air-conditioned rooms, suites and villas. Palm View Rooms are set back from the beach and have a king size bed, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, bathroom with a bath and separate shower, terrace and a garden view. The Beachfront Rooms enjoy the same facilities (but with a shower only) and directly overlook the beach; the light and airy Island Loft Rooms are raised up on stilts and have vaulted ceilings. Spacious Suites boast a large living area with sofa bed and are housed in two-storey buildings, either in the gardens or close to the beach. The two bedroom Southern Cross Villa is set up on a bluff and has a private infinity pool and stunning ocean views. The three bedroom Sea Feather Villa offers direct beach access and is ideal for families.

Facilities
Royal Palm Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in an open-air pavilion overlooking the beach; the Sunset Grill is right on the sand and offers a lovely, informal setting for lunch and dinner. There are 2 bars, a library, TV/internet room, fitness centre, tennis court, pitch and putt golf course, non-motorised watersports, bicycles and nature trails. The small spa offers a wide range of massage and beauty treatments (at an additional charge). There are 5 glorious white sand beaches to choose from with excellent snorkelling just offshore.

Special Information
Children under 16 yrs are not permitted between 3 January - 7 April or at any time in the Southern Cross Villa. Children under 12 yrs are not permitted at any time.
