This is simply a wonderful resort where you are guaranteed to relax and have a great time. Owned by our good friend, John Jefferis, and with the friendliest of staff, the hotel offers comfortable accommodation and a Caribbean ambience that draws our clients back to Tobago time and time again. You’ll love the resort’s idyllic private lagoon and white sand beach, surrounded by ten acres of tropical gardens. There are lots of watersports to try out and a magnificent oceanfront terrace where you can just relax and let all your worries and cares gently drift away.

Location
On Coconut Bay on the west coast of Tobago, just a mile from the airport.

Accommodation
135 spacious rooms, suites and villas decorated in a colourful Caribbean style. All are well appointed and offer air-conditioning, cable TV, mini bar, in-room safe and a balcony or patio. With the exception of the Superior Garden View Rooms and the One and Two Bedroom Villa Suites which are located in the gardens, all rooms have views of the ocean. For a real experience, try one of the Royal Suites or the Sunset Villa which has one bedroom and two bathrooms with a fabulous oceanfront terrace virtually on the sea itself.

Facilities
Tamara’s restaurant offers international cuisine in an elegant setting overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the more casual beachfront Bacchanals serves lunch as well as drinks and snacks all day. Café Coco is a short walk or taxi ride away and offers superb cuisine in a tropical setting. An open kitchen offers diners the chance to see their meals being prepared by the chefs. (A supplement applies at Café Coco for guests on All-Inclusive, except those staying in Deluxe Ocean Front Reef Rooms). Complimentary non-motorised watersports include sailing, windsurfing, kayaks, snorkelling and pedalos. There is also a swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness centre, small spa with 2 treatment rooms and a PADI dive shop on site.

What you need to know

• The award winning Coco Reef Tobago is one of our most popular resorts - guests love the classic Caribbean ambience, the friendly staff and excellent service

• The hotel is adorned with some stunning artwork that owner, John Jefferis, has collected over the years - the pictures used to be offered for sale but John just can’t bear to part with them any more

• Falconer, Kelton Thomas, regularly visits Coco Reef with his magnificent birds of prey - the mere presence of Lakshmi and Coco is enough to discourage their opportunistic smaller cousins from stealing titbits from guests’ breakfast plates

• Eric Feniet is the most amiable General Manager - you’ll find that he knows all of his guests by name and takes especially good care of Caribtours clients
