Watersports including snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding are available on the beautiful beach, you can explore the island by catamaran or jeep tour, and the Tierra del Sol golf course is not far away. The Aruba Marriott enjoys a great location on Palm Beach, a two-mile strip of glorious white sand with plenty of lively bars and restaurants.
If you’re travelling without kids then we highly recommend the Tradewinds Club suites, an adults only ‘hotel within a hotel’ which includes access to a lounge where complimentary breakfast, midday snacks, afternoon tea, hors d’oeuvres and desserts are served daily. There is also a nightly cocktail hour!
The pop-up beach restaurant Atardi, which means ‘late afternoon’ in the local Papiamento creole, is a romantic spot for a seaside dinner, and specialises in fresh seafood.
Gelato & Co. is impossible to resist, open till late serving indulgent ice cream, including vegan and gluten-free options, as well as smoothies and açai bowls.
