Location

This exclusive resort estate is tucked away on the coast of Guia de Isora, a tranquil and little known area of Tenerife.

Abama Kabuki has also been awarded a Michelin star for its exciting fusion of traditional Japanese flavours and modern culinary techniques, and the clifftop El Mirador serves locally-sourced seafood in a more relaxed atmosphere. Other highlights include Martín Berasategui’s traditional Spanish restaurant, Txoko, plus mouthwatering Italian cuisine at Verona and flavour-packed meat dishes at the 20/20 Steakhouse. There is also a casual beach restaurant, poolside Los Chozos and two bars, ranging from the outside Lobby Terrace/Bar to the English pub ambience of the Sports Bar.

Make a splash with seven swimming pools and a gorgeous golden-sand beach, accessible via a funicular from the clifftop or by the resort train. Other facilities include the Tennis Academy, with seven tennis courts, plus a newly-refurbished 24-hour fitness centre, 18-hole championship golf course, and the sublime Abama Spa, which includes a hydrotherapy pool and thermal water circuit. The Ritz Kids Club for 4-12 yrs offers a new playground and a range of indoor and outdoor activities, and there is also a dedicated family pool with a smaller pool for infants. The resort can organise a range of excursions, including helicopter tours of the island, whale and dolphin watching cruises, paragliding, wine tasting, cookery classes and sunset boat trips.
