Virgin Atlantic Virgin Atlantic operates Boeing 747-400 aircraft from Gatwick to Barbados, Antigua, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, Nassau, Havana and Jamaica. We find the aircraft to be extremely comfortable with excellent seat-back entertainment throughout all cabins and particularly good children’s packs.
Check in Chill Out Virgin Atlantic offers a Twilight Check In service at Gatwick between 3.30pm and 9pm, allowing you to take the stress out of travelling by checking in your baggage and securing your boarding passes the day before your flight. A similar pre-check in service, Check In Chill Out, is offered in some of our resorts on the morning of your flight home; our local representatives will assist you with more details in resort.
Upper Class The Upper Class Suite offers a fully flat bed, 79" long and 33" wide, converted from a comfortable seat with its own ottoman which changes into a seat for your travelling companion. All Upper Class passengers will enjoy exclusive use of the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse offering complimentary massages, manicures, food and drink plus, in-flight, the freedom menu service allowing you to eat what you want, when you want. Air Jamaica Air Jamaica flies from Heathrow to Montego Bay and to Kingston. The A340 aircraft are particularly light and airy and have three classes with up to 34" seat pitch in economy. The premium cabins – Deluxe Economy Class (60" seat ptich) and Executive Business Class (84" seat pitch) – offer exceptional comfort with flat beds in Executive Business Class, individual video screens and an appetising choice of in-flight dining. In-flight service on most flights includes a pre-landing aerobics class, carried out by the crew themselves.
bmi The UK’s second largest full service scheduled airline, is operating non-stop flights from Manchester to Barbados and Antigua using award-winning Airbus A330 aircraft with three classes. We know that our customers in the north west especially appreciate this service, which we expect to be hugely popular.
The Business (60” seat pitch) This is a first class-style service with dedicated check-in and use of the bmi executive lounge on departure. On board, the ergonomically designed sleeper seats offer 60” of legroom and 160 degrees of recline, with a 9-inch seat mounted video screen providing state of the art in-flight entertainment.
