Antigua Plus... June 27, 2014

Although Antigua is a great destination in its own right (who could complain with 365 beaches?), it also happens to be the island that you need to fly to in order to reach some of the smaller Caribbean islands. A twin centre trip means you’ll have a much more varied holiday, as each of the islands in the Caribbean has its own personality. So why not extend your holiday and discover two islands instead of one? Just a short hop on a LIAT flight and you can be in sailor's paradise the British Virgin Islands, sleepy laid-back Nevis, nature lovers' favourite Dominica or gourmet heaven Anguilla. We’ve put together a selection of our favourite Antigua twin centre holidays to inspire you...

Antigua + Nevis

Antigua Nevis

Spend a wonderful week at laid back Blue Waters, Antigua, then add on a few nights at Nisbet Plantation, Nevis, where you’ll experience the Caribbean as it was 20 years ago. Untouched, unspoilt and off the beaten track, you’ll feel instantly calm and relaxed here. You could even go one better and add on a third island – Nevis’s sister, St Kitts, is just a short boat trip away and easily doable as a day trip.

Antigua + Anguilla

Antigua Anguilla

At Hermitage Bay, Antigua, food is a real focus (our team raves about their Kobe beef burgers), so try twinning it with Cap Juluca, Anguilla. There are over 100 restaurants to choose from on Anguilla and two of the best are at Cap Juluca. When venturing out try Blanchards, Veja or Jacala for an unforgettable Anguillan dining experience.

Antigua + British Virgin Islands

Antigua Bvi

Honeymooners looking to get away from it all should consider a stay at adults only Galley Bay, Antigua, in one of their very private Gaugin Cottages with plunge pool. Then hop over to Peter Island, a private island in the British Virgin Islands, with not one but five beautiful beaches.

Antigua + Dominica

Antigua Dominica

For an activity filled holiday, combine watersports at Curtain Bluff, Antigua with land-based activities such as waterfall hikes and nature walks at Jungle Bay, Dominica. Both hotels include a vast number of activities in their all-inclusive plan, so you won’t have to worry about forking out for this whilst you’re there.

Antigua + St Barths

Antigua St Barths

Last but not least, the celebrity-filled island of St Barths is accessible by private or shared charter flights from Antigua. Combine stylish and contemporary Carlisle Bay, Antigua, a firm favourite amongst our team, with Eden Rock, St Barths, a glamorous hideaway popular with the rich and famous.
