Ilenia's View

OUR Dominica SPECIALIST

"Kempinski is Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, founded in 1897, but Dominica is only the second Caribbean island to join their portfolio, following the launch of the beautiful Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski in Havana, Cuba, a couple of years ago."

"We’ve been singing Dominica’s praises for a very long time here at Caribtours, but the accommodation on offer has always tended more towards the rustic in style, so we’re delighted to add a genuine luxury option to our collection."

"Cabrits National Park comprises around 1,300 acres of protected tropical forest, coral reef and wetlands, along with a beautifully restored 18th-century British garrison, Fort Shirley, where you can enjoy commanding views of Prince Rupert Bay."

Half Moon

Jamaica

You’ll be following in some very famous royal footsteps when you check in at this iconic hotel - the Queen, Prince Charles and, most recently, Prince Harry have all enjoyed Half Moon’s legendary Jamaican hospitality.

With 400 acres to explore, the best way to get around Half Moon is by bike - the pedal-back brakes take a bit of getting used to but they’re great fun once you’ve got the hang of it.

At over 60 years old, Half Moon might be getting on a bit, but she still likes to look her best - the Sugar Mill Restaurant and lobby area were refurbished last year and the Oleander section of the resort is now receiving a full makeover.
