There are 157 rooms, suites and bungalows, all beautifully decorated in a bright and airy style. The Grand Sea Front Suites are particularly appealing, with a spacious deck, private pool and a path leading directly onto the beach, while the Presidential Sea Front Bungalow was the preferred suite of opera singer, Maria Callas, who was a regular guest here.
Choose between four excellent restaurants, from the beachfront Armyra, which specialises in fresh fish, to Kamares which serves up modern Greek cuisine. After dinner, unwind at the Eagles Club with live music, or enjoy a signature cocktail at the Ammos Beach Bar whilst watching the sunset.
The resort has an excellent water sports centre with a PADI dive school, water skiing, canoeing, wake boarding and much more. In addition, there is a tennis court, beach volleyball and a fully-equipped gym all available. Adults can pamper themselves at the lovely Elemis Spa whilst children are catered for at the Explorers kids club. Children from 4 months to 4 years have a dedicated space in the main hotel with its own sleep room, whilst children aged 5 – 11 are close to the beach.
The resort has a fantastic concierge service which can organise excursions to Mount Athos or private boat trips, perfect for couples wanting to make the experience even more special.
There is a complimentary return shuttle service to the nearby village of Ouranoupolis. If you visit the resort during Easter, the village comes to life with religious festivities.
In addition to the glorious sandy beach, there is a heated freshwater pool and a small separate children’s pool.
