Bermuda Destination

Warmed by the Gulf Stream and rich in history, Bermuda enjoys a lovely year round semi-tropical climate. Bermuda's 181 islands and islets cover just 22 miles and are only 2 miles wide, so it’s easy to get around, especially if you hire a scooter. Do visit the original capital, St George’s, as it’s now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Naturally, the glorious pink sandy beaches and warm sunshine make Bermuda a holiday haven for most of the year. But if you’re more into golf, walking and exploring then it’s worth coming during the winter when the climate is milder and the prices drop.Whenever you choose to visit Bermuda, you’re sure to love the casual elegance of the place, the laid-back pace and the great friendliness of the people.

There’s every sort of restaurant in Bermuda, from romantic oceanfront restaurants and casual brasseries to British pubs and sushi bars. Amongst our favourites are the Blue Juice Bar in Hamilton for tapas, Harbourfront for sushi and La Coquille for superb French cuisine. Also excellent are the more modern The Pickled Onion and Barracuda Grill and the informal Aggie’s Garden &Waterside.

Romantic Bermuda...

Follow the Railway Trail

Take a scenic stroll or cycle along the route of Bermuda’s now abandoned railway. You’ll enjoy views of the island’s stunning coastline and rolling hills as you make your way to the beautiful and secluded Lover’s Lake.

Find a quiet cove

Bermuda is made up of 181 tiny islands and there are plenty of quiet coves, inlets and tranquil beaches to discover here. For romance we particularly recommend the beautiful pink sands of Horseshoe Bay, often voted one of the best beaches in the world.

Take to the water

Watersports are naturally popular here and none more so than scuba diving and snorkelling. The waters around Bermuda are rich in marine life and there are hundreds of shipwrecks just waiting to be explored. But if you’re looking for something a little more romantic, a sunset cruise could be the perfect way to end your day.

Drop in on the Big Apple

Flying time between New York and Bermuda is just over two hours, and regular, direct flights make this a perfect twin centre. Why not spend some time shopping on Fifth Avenue before relaxing on the beach in Bermuda.
