Accommodation

There are 301 suites in circular blocks centred around cenote-style courtyards, each with an intimate pool surrounded by endemic Mexican flora. All suites have a private balcony or terrace, flatscreen TV, WiFi, air conditioning, bathroom with rain shower, and mini bar refreshed daily. The Swim-Out Junior Suites on the ground floor have direct access to a shared pool, and feature a kitchenette, living room, butler service and Bvlgari bath amenities. Upgrade to a Preferred Club suite for extra benefits including concierge service, a dedicated lounge and an additional restaurant only available to Preferred Club guests.

Restaurants And Bars

There are 14 drinking and dining venues spread around the resort, including Asian-Peruvian fusion cuisine at Jasmine, Mediterranean specialities at Olio and the Seaside Grill down at the Beach Club. The romantic Rosewater seafood restaurant, open for dinner, is exclusively available to guests staying in Preferred Club accommodation. There is also a rooftop swim-up bar, premium coffee shop and a sports bar.

Facilities

There are pools galore here, including four secluded courtyard pools, a larger main pool with interconnecting waterways, and two rooftop pools looking out over the jungle foliage. A 15-minute shuttle ride whisks you to the Beach Club, where there is another pool plus a beach bar and restaurants. Watersports on offer at the beach include snorkelling and scuba diving; back at the main resort there is a fitness centre, table tennis and the lovely Spa by Pevonia, which includes a hydrotherapy circuit, saunas and steam room. There are also massage rooms at the Beach Club.

Although Secrets Tulum is not on the coast, the courtyard pools are surrounded by sand, lending them something of a beach feel, plus it’s only a 15-minute shuttle ride to the resort’s Beach Club.
