82 luxury private villas feature a blend of contemporary architecture and traditional Omani style, creating a modern, yet rustic look. Each offers 24-hour personal butler service, satellite TV with music on demand, CD and DVD players and your own bicycles to get around the resort. Pool Villas are open-plan, with the bedroom leading into an indoor living space and out to a private sundeck with loungers and an infinity pool; Beachfront Pool Villas are highly recommended, offering direct beach access from your sundeck. The more spacious Pool Villa Suites have a separate bedroom and living area and offer a choice of location, either set back within the resort or right on the beach. For larger families, Two Bedroom Pool Villas and Suites allow more space to spread out, and the stunning Four Bedroom Beachfront Reserve offers the ultimate home away from home, with a private stretch of beach, wine cellar and infinity pool.

Restaurants And Bars

Spice Market is the main restaurant, serving Middle Eastern flavours, but if you would prefer something more intimate, the in-villa private dining options are superb. Summer House is highly recommended for its international fare and selection of homemade ice cream, whilst Sense on the Edge is the resort’s romantic signature restaurant, offering tantalising set menus of five or seven courses, enhanced by herbs from the resort’s own organic garden and accompanied by a selection of fine wines. There is also Shua Shack, the resort’s feet-in-the-sand Bedouin style dining experience, perfect for a family meal.

Naturally, the Six Senses Spa is a major attraction and the skilled therapists here deliver pampering and holistic treatments using all-natural products. As well as the usual watersports, including snorkelling and diving, you can enjoy creative tours and desert adventures such as hiking through picturesque local villages, mountain biking, rock climbing, and 4x4 excursions. Younger guests are well catered for with the Chaica’s Club providing a host of fun and educational activities for children aged 4-10 years, and the Teen Club offering exciting options such as archery, abseiling and hiking.

Important Information

All guests arriving at Zighy Bay from the UAE are required to send their passport details to Caribtours at least 14 days prior to departure in order that we can obtain a border pass on your behalf. The border pass is free, however, it is compulsory to cross through the UAE-Oman checkpoint.
