Location

On Douglas Bay on the west coast of Dominica, just under an hour’s drive from both Douglas-Charles and Canefield airport.

Accommodation

131 tastefully appointed rooms and suites, all with private balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, TV, sound system, WiFi, mini bar, coffee maker and in-room safe. Some rooms have access to a shared plunge pool, or you can upgrade to a suite with its own private pool. Kids will love the ‘excursion kit’ provided in your room, which includes a bag, water bottle, binoculars, hat and towel for younger guests.

Restaurants And Bars

Cabrits Market lays on a superb breakfast buffet, with seating both indoors and outdoors on an airy terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The Kwéyòl Beach Restaurant, next to the main pool, serves both locally- and internationally-inspired creole dishes in an al fresco setting, with live music every Tuesday and Friday night. The Rumfire Bar has a cosy firepit, tapas menu and a range of rums and fine cigars, and there is also a swim-up bar at the main pool.

The resort facilities include 4 swimming pools, 2 floodlit tennis courts, a fitness centre offering yoga and Pilates, and the Teya Wellness Sanctuary, which includes treatment huts and a sauna.
