El Silencio’s 18 suites and villas are perfectly positioned to make the most of the wonderful mountain views. The emphasis here is on relaxation and all rooms have their own private deck with rocking chairs and heated outdoor whirlpool. The Riverside Suites enjoy a magical waterside setting whilst the Two Bedroom Master Suites and Private Villas are a great option for families.
Two superb restaurants offer flavoursome local cuisine with many of the ingredients coming from the lodge’s own organic farm.
Activities on offer include hiking trails, birdwatching, horse riding, zip lining, wine tasting and cookery classes, while the Esencia Spa offers a range of soothing treatments and has an outdoor deck for yoga and meditation. The lodge can also arrange excursions to Arenal, La Fortuna and the Sarapiquí River Basin.
