Karen Boulton's View

OUR Cyprus SPECIALIST

“Dining at Amara is a real treat, with restaurant concepts from not one but two Michelin-starred chefs.”

“If you like your gadgets then you’ll feel right at home here, with automated mood lighting, motorised curtains and a wireless lighting control system to create the
perfect setup in your room.”

“Although the hotel is undoubtedly modern in style, there is also plenty of history here; the ruins of ancient Amathus are just down the road, and the Spa incorporates part of Limassol’s old city walls, discovered during the hotel’s construction.”

“The name Amara is derived from the Greek word amarantos, meaning ‘everlasting’, and you certainly won’t want your stay here to end.”

Corfu

"There’s a great range of restaurants; my top tip is book a table at Ouzo for a truly Greek experience. For even more options, we recommend you use the shuttle bus to travel into the old town and dine out at one of the restaurants included in the All-Inclusive plan."

"Definitely look to book some treatments at the world-class Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin, a totally relaxing hideaway - There’s some great shopping to be had in nearby Corfu Old Town, but try to avoid the cruise ship day-trippers so you have the pick of the treasures."

"Upgrading to the Deluxe Collection suites brings with it a range of extra perks, including access to the exclusive beach area and upgraded service and toiletries, as well as minibar amenities.”
