The 154 air-conditioned rooms and suites each feature a private balcony with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, marble bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, 42-inch flat-screen television plus built-in television in the bathroom, in-room entertainment and media centre, Nespresso coffee machine, minibar and complimentary WiFi. The Roof Garden Suite is the ultimate in luxury living, with a private infinity pool with retractable roof, roof garden terrace, private sauna and steam bath, full kitchen, private entrance and lift, exclusive bridge to the hotel spa and personal butler service.

Restaurants And Bars

There are three restaurants and three bars. In the Michelin-star Gusto by Heinz Beck guests can enjoy contemporary Mediterranean cuisine alongside an open kitcheln and views of the infinity pool; the restaurant also offers a Cuban cigar menu. Louro Restaurant is set within a glass atrium and presents innovative Portuguese fare; private dining, interactive dining experiences and cookery classes can also be enjoyed here. The poolside Dado Bar & Restaurant is shaded by palm trees and parasols, and serves light dishes inspired by South America during daytimes, as well as a delicious Sunday barbecue.

Facilities

There are three pools, including a heated outdoor infinity pool, heated indoor pool and outdoor unheated pool. There is also a serviced beach less than 10 minutes away from the hotel which guests can reach via a complimentary shuttle which runs seasonally. For active types, there’s a Technogym fitness centre, fitness classes and a multi-purpose sports court where tennis lessons and games can be arranged; the resort is also set within close distance of several prominent golf courses including Quinta do Lago Sul and Laranjal. The hotel’s golf concierge offers a reservation service, golf coaching and access to the hotel’s PGA-qualified golf pro. The Conrad Spa has both indoor and outdoor pools, an ice fountain, experience showers, a sauna, aromatic steam room and five treatment suites plus one for couples. Supervised activities for ages 3–12 yrs are available at the kids’ club, and there’s a complimentary playroom for children aged 5 months to 8 yrs accompanied by an adult.
