There are a variety of accommodation options at Princesa Yaiza with 385 airconditioned rooms and suites ranging from Superior Double Rooms to Presidential Suites, each with a furnished balcony overlooking the gardens or pools and decorated in traditional Canaries style. Facilities include satellite TV, a mini bar, kitchenette with microwave, kettle with tea/coffee-making facilities, 24hour room service, Rituals bathroom amenities and complimentary WiFi. The spacious two-bedroom Family Suites and Royal Kiko Suites are located in a separate annex which is connected to the resort via a walkway lined with tropical fish aquariums. The area has its own separate pool area and pool bar, although guests are also free to use all the facilities of the main hotel building. For ultimate luxury, opt for the splendid Presidential Suites with spectacular location and views out to the ocean.
There are eight restaurants to choose from, ranging from buffet-style to à la carte, Italian to Japanese. Gourmet restaurant Isla de Lobos utilises local products of the finest quality from the farm, Finca de Uga, whilst +Tapas serves up Spanish tapas alongside exceptional wines. Bars include the adults-only Cocktails & Music Bar 4 Lunas which serves a variety of cocktails alongside live music until 3am, and for a healthy option, head for juice bar La Papaya. Popular hotspot is the open-air Plaza Princesa Yaiza, with smooth live music in the early evenings.
You won’t know where to start, here. There are six swimming pools, two tennis courts, a sports pitch, shopping boutiques and frequent live entertainment in the evenings. The most impressive aspect of Princesa Yaiza, however, is the amazing Kikoland park; a separate complex of children’s animation and sports facilities, including football, basketball and beach volleyball. There are age-appropriate playgrounds with activity houses for children aged 0-16 yrs. The adults Sports Centre offers a personal trainer, sauna, nutrition service as well as group fitness classes. Thallasso Spa Centre Princesa Yaiza features more than 2,000 sq metres of facilities with 50 independent treatment rooms for massages, beauty treatments, wellness rituals and cures.
