Approximately 30 minutes by seaplane from Malé international airport.

The 132 detached villas and suites, all of which have access to the beach and brilliantly-blue waters beyond, are separated by tropical vegetation for added privacy. Sunset Junior Suites occupy the prime beachfront positions and feature spacious living areas, open-air bathrooms, private outdoor areas and exclusive services. Sunset Pool Villas have their own 30m² private pool, over-sized daybed, whirlpool bath, butler service, and a welcome bottle of Champagne and canapés.

There are six fabulous bars and restaurants, including The Liquid which is set on the edge of the 50-metre pool, overlooking the ocean – this is the place to be for cocktails and daytime nibbles whilst unwinding poolside in a hammock or cabana. Ceylon Bliss serves Sri Lankan-style street food, and Teppanyaki Grill is as entertaining as it is delectable, with chefs that theatrically prepare dishes in front of diners. Special mention must go to Just Veg, a highly-acclaimed 100% vegetarian restaurant which is a first for the Maldives.

All-Inclusive

Facilities include a world-class PADI Dive Centre, a range of motorised and non-motorised watersports, a floodlit tennis court, fully-equipped gym and two swimming pools. The Akiri Spa by Mandara features six double treatment rooms and a hair and beauty salon. For children, there’s a supervised kids club and daily activity programme. The resort also arranges a daily programme of entertainment, activities and excursions including trips to neighbouring islands, sunset cruises and snorkelling trips.

Between 6 May - 1 October 2019, the resort is adding 40 new water villas to the north-westerly lagoon of Kanifushi Island. During this time, all services at the resort will continue as normal and there is not anticipated to be any disruption to guests.
