Location

On Thilamaafushi island in the Lhaviyani Atoll, a 35-minute seaplane flight from Malé International Airport.

Accommodation

There are 97 overwater villas and 37 beach villas, stylishly decorated in muted, pastel hues with pops of tropical colour, and furnished with mid century-inspired pieces that bring a touch of Scandinavia to the Indian Ocean. The overwater villas come with either an overwater hammock or a private pool, plus a sun deck with loungers, ocean-facing bed and bathroom with free-standing bath. The two bedroom overwater pool villas even have a glass-panelled floor in the living room so you can watch the lagoon life beneath! The beach villas have both indoor and outdoor bathroom, a beachside terrace fringed with lush foliage, and some have a private pool. All accommodation includes a large walk-in wardrobe, Malin + Goetz bathroom amenities, LCD satellite TV, WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar and in-room safe. 

Restaurants And Bars

The airy Turquoise is an all-day-dining venue serving both Asian and western flavours, Riviera is a beachside tapas joint, and the poolside Velaa Bar + Grill offers light bites during the day and grilled specialities in the evening. Tabemasu is the stunning overwater Japanese restaurant, which offers an unmissable five-course teppanyaki experience. Cool off at La Vie, a laid-back bar with a curving pool wrapped around it, enjoy a cosy coffee at Latitude, or opt for the healthy option at the Waves Café.

Facilities

There is a family pool and an adults only pool, watersports and dive centre, padel tennis court, fitness centre and wellness hub, with daily classes, Pilates, boot camps, and guided sunrise and sunset yoga. The overwater Explore Spa has 6 glass-floored treatment rooms plus a hair and beauty salon. The Family Kids Hub lays on fun games and workshops, teaching children about the local flora and fauna, as well as efforts to conserve them. You can learn more about the underwater world at the Marine Conservation Hub, create your own art at fun ‘sip and paint’ sessions, go on a family foraging adventure, enjoy movies under the stars, or learn a new skill with mixology and barista classes.
