The 186 rooms, suites and villas are comfortably furnished with a light and airy style that invites in the sweeping Indian Ocean views. Superior Rooms include a shower and toilet only and can interconnect for families, or upgrade to a Junior Suite with separate bath and shower and a ground floor terrace just a few steps from the beach. We also like the Ocean Junior Suites, as they have a large private balcony with loungers and outdoor bath, so are perfect for couples or honeymooners. Family Suites can accommodate two adults and three children, and feature a master bedroom with king bed and en-suite bathroom and a second room with large double sofa beds, a second bathroom and a walk-in dressing room. The three LUX* Villas are the largest accommodations in the resort and are set on their own private peninsula. They each boast two bedrooms, an outdoor lounge, relaxation deck, private swimming pool, gazebo and 24-hour butler service.

The six restaurants and seven bars include Palm Court, the main restaurant, which is open for breakfast and dinner, and features six live cooking stations with sit-up counters and chef interactions. Beach Rouge, right on the main beach, is a trendy but informal option, whilst Bodrum Blue serves up authentic Turkish cuisine alongside spectacular ocean views. Surrounding the resort’s ancient banyan tree, there’s a quieter area, which is adults-only in the daytime, and features a Creole Smokehouse, where dishes are cooked in traditional fashion over wood and charcoal, and a Rum Treehouse; BB’s burger bar is also here, but is open for everyone. Á la carte restaurant INTI serves a blend of Peruvian and Argentinian cuisine from an open-grill kitchen and has a superb pastry station.

The fabulous LUX* Me SPA includes 12 treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room, pool, hair salon and lovely bridal suite. There’s also a world-class gym featuring Technogym equipment, a tennis academy with four floodlit tennis courts, and a nearby 18-hole championship golf course. A range of complimentary watersports include waterskiing, windsurfing, snorkelling, kayaking and sport catamaran sailing, and there are free land-based activities too, including beach volleyball, table tennis, yoga, Tai chi and aquagym. Supervised kids’ club, PLAY, is for children 3–11 yrs and we love the Junk Art Studio, an innovative place for adults and kids alike to get creative.
