The Beachfront is a pleasingly petite adults only hideaway, surrounded by lush jungle and spilling directly onto a lovely white sand beach. Despite the feeling of splendid isolation, you’re only 10 minutes from the centre of buzzy Playa del Carmen, and you also have all the facilities of sister hotel The Fives Beach a short shuttle ride away. Location

On beautiful Xcalacoco Beach, 10 minutes’ drive from downtown Playa del Carmen and 45 minutes from Cancún International Airport.

Accommodation

There are just 43 rooms and suites, attractively appointed in a boho chic style. With the exception of the entry-level Oceanview Rooms, all accommodation includes a private terrace or balcony, and some have direct beachfront access. In-room amenities include flatscreen TV, mini bar and in-room safe. The Beachfront Swim Up Suites have a private oceanfront plunge pool, and the Presidential Suite opens onto a spacious terrace with a private Jacuzzi.

Restaurants And Bars

Santa Sirena is an exclusive beach club and restaurant offering Mexican fusion cuisine, including a mouth-watering six course tasting menu, along with creative cocktails and an idyllic oceanfront setting. The outdoor Agua Mala Cocktail Bar has an atmospheric jungle aesthetic, and there are regular food pop-ups. You also have access to an excellent selection of restaurants at neighbouring hotel The Fives Beach, offering Mexican, Thai, Italian, Japanese and more.

Facilities

The Beachfront has an infinity pool set just back from the beach, and there are shaded loungers along the white sand. Amenities at The Fives Beach next door include 8 pools, a gym and The Spa by Fives, which overlooks a natural cenote and offers more than 15,000 square feet of wellness facilities, with 11 treatment rooms (including a couple’s suite), Temaxcal and hydrotherapy circuit.
