447 rooms and suites have a timeless elegance and sophistication, with a design influenced by Renaissance Italy. Enjoy a spacious balcony with views over Abu Dhabi’s Grand Canal, a beautiful bathroom with deep bath and separate rain shower and all the facilities you could need, including a 42” LCD TV, WiFi access, iPod docking station, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. Ritz-Carlton are one of the best when it comes to Club level amenities and this hotel is no exception, with the Club Lounge offering panoramic views of the canal, an exclusive breakfast serving and snacks four times a day. Club Rooms and Suites also include a DVD player, while Executive and Club Suites feature a separate lounge with comfortable seating and a second TV. In addition, 81 Garden Suites and Garden Houses offer one or two bedrooms, a furnished sun terrace with loungers, table and chairs and views over the pretty terraced gardens or the impressive Grand Mosque. Garden Suites and Houses also feature a separate lounge, including a kitchenette with microwave and sink. The four Two Bedroom Villas are similar to the Garden Houses with the addition of a private plunge pool.

Nine superb dining options mean you’ll be spoilt for choice and we particularly like Li Jiang, the Asian restaurant, serving up mainly Chinese dishes with a modern twist, enhanced by impressive views of the Grand Mosque. You’ll also find Mijana’s inspired Lebanese cuisine, prepared from a semi-open show kitchen, hard to resist. Make sure you also visit Dolce for the most delicious homemade ice cream in a fantastic variety of flavours, including marshmallow and candy floss and supremely moreish cakes!

A 1,600 sq metre pool is encircled by the main hotel building and offers plenty of sun loungers, or head to the private beach fronting onto the canal. The 2,000 sq metre ESPA spa, the largest in Abu Dhabi, and huge outdoor spa pool, exclusive to spa guests, are more than impressive, leaving you no choice but to treat yourself. This hotel is also a great family option, with The Ritz Kids’ Club for 4-12 yrs hosting a daily activity programme (reservations recommended), as well as indoor and outdoor facilities, including a splash pad play area.
