The Mountain View, Horizon View and Ridge View Suites are all the same size, the main difference is the floor on which the suite is located. The larger Jabal Terrace Suites have a more extensive outdoor area with private pavilion and day bed, while the open-plan Loft Suites are spread over two storeys, with a comfortable lounge and bathroom facilities downstairs and the bedroom and second bathroom upstairs. The lavish two bedroom Jabal Villas can accommodate up to four people and boast a large living room, dining room, kitchenette and butler service. In addition, an enhanced bathroom includes a Jacuzzi, steam room, oversized bath and shower, while outside a private infinity pool looking out over the rough hewn scenery awaits.

The Juniper Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a range of international dishes inspired by the Middle East and beyond, from fragrant Moroccan cuisine to Mediterranean style mezze. The Rose Lounge has a more casual vibe, serving drinks, light bites and street food with a Pan-Asian theme.

The outdoor infinity pool has amazing views over the gorge, and there is also a heated indoor plunge pool. The excellent Spa Alila offers a range of enticing Asian-inspired treatments, plus complimentary morning yoga classes twice a week and meditation under the stars every Thursday. Active pursuits on offer include trekking, rock climbing and mountain biking, and the concierge team can arrange cookery classes, stargazing sessions and cultural tours of the local area. The resort is also very welcoming to families, so as well as enjoying the outdoor activities, there is a dedicated kids’ club and babysitting services are available on request. A gym, library and boutique complete the resort’s facilities.
