Most of the 158 rooms and suites have a sea view, though not all have a balcony, so it’s well worth upgrading. Accommodation is divided between the historic Villa Odak, which dates back to 1913, and the more modern Tower, with chic and contemporary interiors throughout. All rooms are air-conditioned and include an en-suite bathroom with shower and Biobaza amenities, flatscreen satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities and in-room safe. Suites offer extra space, with a comfortable living area, while the stylish Presidential Suite has two bedrooms. Some of the other Suites can also interconnect to create a two bedroom option for families.

Enjoy contemporary Mediterranean fine dining paired with Croatian wines at Sensus, with lovely views out over the Adriatic, or dine by the water’s edge at Prora, a romantic spot specialising in regional meat and fish dishes. Salin is the hotel’s main restaurant, where a generous breakfast buffet is served, while the Abakus Piano Bar and Terrace is the place for drinks and light bites before heading out into the Old Town in the evening.
