Wilderness Hotel Muotka is located approximately 45 minutes by road from Ivalo Airport, with private transfers available for guests.

Set along a quiet riverbank in the fell region of Kakslauttanen, the hotel is perfectly positioned for Northern Lights viewings and access to the untouched landscapes of the Finnish wilderness.

Accommodating up to 220 guests, Wilderness Hotel Muotka offers a range of inviting lodgings designed to suit both couples and small groups. Guests may choose from Wilderness Rooms, Premium Rooms, Superior Sauna Rooms and the sought-after Panorama Log Cabins. Aurora Cabins provide a front-row seat to the northern skies, while Riverside Log Cabins offer a secluded atmosphere close to the calming waters of the nearby river. Interiors are crafted in cosy Nordic style, reflecting the surrounding nature while providing modern comforts.

Dining at Muotka is a warm, communal experience centred around the main lodge’s rustic restaurant. Here, traditional Lappish flavours are served in an inviting setting, offering a menu of hearty, seasonal dishes after a day spent exploring the great outdoors.
