AVA’s 1,622 rooms, suites and villas have a light and sunny air, with floor-to-ceiling windows, dazzling Caribbean views and a calming colour palette inspired by the seafront setting. All rooms open onto a private terrace or balcony complete with an outdoor spa bathtub, and include a smart TV, Bluetooth sound system, Nespresso machine, WiFi, Crave tablet, mini bar, USB charging station and in-room safe. The suites, offering up to four bedrooms, are perfect for families or groups, with the one- and two-bedroom penthouse suites providing extra space and stellar views. The magnificent five-bedroom Panoramic Villa comes with its own private plunge pool, as well as a six-person outdoor spa tub and al fresco dining area.

Restaurants And Bars

Dining at AVA Resort is a culinary adventure, with six fine dining restaurants and eight more casual options. Vivo serves up Mediterranean flavours, while Black Iron is a wood-fired grill and Copal celebrates the best of Mexican cuisine, with an outdoor taqueria. Other options include an adults-only French restaurant, two teppanyaki grills, a cafe and bakery, and an ice cream bar. After dark, enjoy a cosy drink at Handsome Harry’s speak easy, check out the creative menu at the Cocktail Bar or let your hair down at DEZ nightclub.

Facilities

The centrepiece of the resort is AVA Bay, a turquoise saltwater lagoon created using Crystal Lagoon Technology, with floating cabanas and a range of non-motorised watersports. There are also six pools, including both family-friendly and adults-only options, and lavish poolside cabanas that are equipped with TVs, loungers and even outdoor baths! The expansive SPA at Ava has 55 treatment cabins and a hydrotherapy circuit, and the two-storey fitness centre offers yoga, Pilates and spin classes. There are five pickleball courts, a paddleball court and activities for teens and kids, including a bowling alley, arcade, escape room and a theatre with live entertainment.
