There are 38 stand alone pool casitas and villas spread around the 750-acre estate, all with a separate living area, terrace, private pool and outdoor shower. There are a couple of two bedroom casitas designed for families, while the Presidential and Royal Villas each have three bedrooms. In-room amenities include air conditioning, smart TV, WiFi, sound system, Nespresso machine, iPad, mini bar and in-room safe, and the Royal Villa also has a private cinema, massage cabin and gym.
The hotel’s culinary programme was designed by top Mexican chef Jorge Vallejo, and there are three excellent restaurants to tantalise your taste buds. Ixi-im is a sophisticated affair drawing on local influences, with one of the world’s largest collection of tequila bottles, while Ki’ol is an al fresco space serving both local and international dishes. The Wellness Restaurant, housed within the spa, focuses on healthy dishes including superfood bowls, cold juices, raw vegetables and a range of vegan and gluten-free options.

The spa also features a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, traditional temazcal, gym, meditation and yoga area and beauty salon, and the treatment cabins are arranged around the waters of the cenote. Other hotel facilities include a freeform pool, complete with poolside bar, plus biking and walking trails, paddle and tennis courts, cigar bar and beautiful gardens that light up with fireflies at night. The hotel also organises cookery classes and wine, cava and tequila tastings.
