Important Information

Fiona's View

OUR Costa Rica SPECIALIST

Tortuguero National Park is named after its famous turtles and visitors come here from all over the world for the chance to see them laying their eggs - nesting season is from July to October and the adorable little hatchlings emerge from late August to November.

The biodiversity of the national park is absolutely staggering - take a boat ride onto the canals and you’ll see an incredible variety of species, including three-toed sloths, river otters, crocodiles, howler monkeys, toucans and much, much more.

You’ll find there’s no need for an alarm clock when you stay here - howler monkeys are early risers, and when the howlers are awake, everyone is awake!
